How fast is the Wifi?
Currently runs at 30 Mega-Bites per second this can vary, generally speaking this is a fast internet speed and will allow streaming of videos online.
How often are the communal areas cleaned?
Communal areas are cleaned on a monthly basis, however during high footfall times, communal areas will be cleaned more often.
Can I move in before my start date?
Officially you cannot move in earlier – however it is possible if the tenant before you moves out a few days earlier and agrees to you moving in slightly earlier at the discretion of the landlord.
Will I get my deposit back?
You will get your deposit back in full after the end of your tenancy as long the rent/bills are paid in full, the property is cleaned to high standards and there are no damages (fair wear and tear expected).
Do you offer rolling contracts?
No, however there are times when the landlord will be willing to make shorter extensions e.g. from July to September (a 2 month extension on a 12 month contract).
Do you accept pets?
No pets are allowed to live within Q Residence apartments.
Do I need my own insurance for the flat?
We recommend that all tenants purchase their own contents insurance. However the property you will live in is insured as a building to the legal requirements of the United Kingdom.
How do I report an issue with my flat?
Please visit the maintenance request page on our website and follow the instructions to submit your issue.
How much is car parking?
Car parking varies in price, however prices are generally £100.00 per calendar month.
Can I extend my contract?
Yes, however you need to check with one of YPP’s lettings consultants for what period of time is allowed (on rare occasions this may not be available).
